Participants will have various networking and professional development opportunities throughout the conference, including a pre-conference publication workshop and a traditional Northern Thai Khantoke dinner event.
Pre-Conference Workshop: Three journal editors will provide expert advice on how to improve manuscripts and increase your success in publication in a workshop entitled, “Why was my paper rejected?: Overcoming the main reasons for rejection.” This workshop will take place on Thursday, January 9 from 1-4pm at the conference venue. The pre-conference workshop will cost $70 (USD) for regular registrants and $50 (USD) for students. Northern Thai Khantoke Dinner: There will be a special khantoke dinner on Friday, January 10. Khantoke is a Lanna Northern Thai traditional dinner with Thai folk dances and classical performances. Tickets will be available for purchase for 30 USD in advance or at the registration desk. Ticket price includes transportation to the venue; transportation from the lobby of the Lotus Pang Suan Kaew Hotel will depart at 6:30pm. Seating for the khantoke dinner is on mats on the floor and shoes are taken off before entering the main performance hall, so please wear comfortable clothing and shoes.
